What is Your "Financial Style"?

Has it at any time entered your thoughts to take a look at your conduct when it comes to the financial area of things? Have you any idea your financial character? It is as simple as this, if you see products like Argan oil for hair on the shelf, do you purchase it immediately? Or do you think about it first before you decide to buy it? Or do you buy because somebody told you to buy it?

According to Linder, you will find four P's -- the Protectors, the Planners, the Pleasers, last but not least the Players. Which one are you? Let's find out!

Protectors

Within the term itself, these folks are incredibly conservative and they are generally protective when it comes to financial matters. If you are a protector, you are incredibly conservative (in shelling out and trading) and you really are not ready to accept change. Protectors wouldn't like to walk out of their safe place (e.g. they go shopping at the exact same areas on a regular basis, they manage their finances the same way every time) plus they never would like to take any risks.

Planners

Planners are tactical individuals who look into things in the long run. In order to make any financial choice, they will generally weigh things out and consider the right strategy to take. These folks are constantly on guard and so they will have backup plans all set.

Pleasers

If you are a Pleaser, you value and look at money as a part of you, or an "extension" of yourself. To a Pleaser, money is synonymous to reputation and one's worth in society. Usually, your shelling out and investing conduct will reveal your character so you generally are trying to please either yourself or other individuals.

Players

Yes, you got it right -- Players are happy-go-lucky in relation to finances. Quoting Linder, to a Player "Currency suggests Current-cy". Players hardly ever plan in advance, they virtually live (and spend) for the moment devoid of caring too much around the future. Yes, Players are extreme risk-takers and so are quite adventurous in relation to the financial aspect.

So, will you be a Protector, a Planner, a Pleaser, or possibly a Player? Could it be good to be a protector or a planner? Could it be bad to become a pleaser or even to be a player? Which one is the right character? Well to be quite honest, all 4 personalities have their positive and negative attributes, so there is really no ideal financial character. The bottom line is you to know where you can draw the line in order to make sound financial decisions irrespective of your character.
