It's very likely that a bride is probably lying if she tells you that she's not worried about fitting into her wedding dress. A lot of women would forget about eating due to the stress of planning a wedding but there are others who find comfort in nibbling a little more or can't find the time to exercise.
Rather than in at the final fitting, the result is a wedding dress that needs to be taken out. And every bride fears this.
Keeping your dress
When it comes to staying in shape, you need to think of a few things before weighing yourself constantly. First of all, during this time, your health is number one. Since you are under a lot of pressure, it's important to make sure that your body is able to handle it well.
To do this, you will want to find some way to incorporate exercise into your life. You may laugh and wonder where you will ever find the time but still, it's essential that you know you should. It could only be for fifteen minutes a day, but still you need to walk, bike, run, etc.
With exercise, stress resistance is created. There's an expression saying that you can blow off steam by going out for a run and this definitely works. Not only are you creating a great distraction for your body and mind, but you're also strengthening your body for any added pressure.
Then again, it's always nice to burn those calories away.
Watch the nibbles
Avoid mindless nibbling because this is the quickest way to weight gain. And even though you don't have the time to prepare the healthiest of meals, you may want to consider healthier choices. It's good to find salads with low-fat dressing but overall, they're not very filling. You can even get a burger at the drive-thru just make sure that it's not the biggest one on the menu. Try choosing a salad and the plain hamburger because it's a quick and filling meal.
As for the sweets, you may want to watch out for those for a while. These can cause you to want to eat more and that's the last thing that you want.
When it's time for you to have fittings for your wedding dress, being honest about what you can wear is very important. If you're a size 10, then your body is not going to magically shrink to accommodate you if you want to be able to wear a size six dress. Be realistic about what you're going to be able to wear and tell the person who is altering the dress if something is too tight.
After all, you wouldn't want to be an uncomfortable bride, do you?
