My first nature shooting with the Nikon D7000 and the way an additional battery saved the morning

I'm quite an avid photographer and albeit I appreciated Canons more than Nikons, my pal never ceased to amaze me with all the photos they got with his Nikon D7000. From portraits and as much as building panoramas, he managed to capture my way through extremely fine detail. My Canon EOS 7D also managed to execute a pretty good job in a variety of environments, but after testing my friend's camera I just got in love with its sweet simplicity. Plus it happened that one day I spot this camera being offered at Amazon, therefore i simply couldn't resist but order it along with a Nikkor 18-105mm objective along with a spare Nikon en-el15 battery.

I became very enthusiastic if this finally arrived the next day therefore i went ahead and enjoyed its huge selection of settings to find out exactly how well it performs to me. When i expected, everything was top-notch plus it felt considerably smoother than on my Canon. I managed to get lucky to receive one high-quality objective which captured some stunning macros (It's my job to prefer in-house abstracts) along with very detailed portrays. However, I thought until this had not been enough to me therefore i proceeded to perform some outdoor shooting.

I live quite near to a wood area the location where the old trees are only delightful and which hosts some of the most beautiful wild flowers That i've ever seen. Therefore, after calling my pal to sign up me the two of us headed on the woods. Specialists him to also bring his camera along so that we are able to compare our results as soon as the photo session. He came furnished with a standard 50mm objective therefore i obviously have a small advantage immediately. We both proceeded to "shooting" birds around and i also remarked that the Nikon D7000 has quite an excellent response time. My older Canon also managed to do rather effectively with sporty photographs, however these appeared to be better yet and sharper than others.

Additionally we captured a number of the trees' majesty and took some panoramas in the place which we were to post on our Flickr accounts. However, if this located shooting the wild flower fields I managed to get disturbed by way of a warning - my Nikon was not having enough battery. It's correct that I forgot to charge it every day before in order that it was below half once we reached the woods. Luckily, New kindle the spare Nikon en-el15 battery that I purchased off Amazon when camping, therefore i quickly inserted into the camera with the hope it'll restore its power. That's the 1st time I tested the spare battery, plus it actually managed to exceed my expectations.

After shooting the wild flowers and having some portraits of my pal, the battery merely lost 5% of its charging power. Next outdoor venture I came home approximately 300 high-quality photos that I immediately transferred into the laptop. They looked better yet into it than I hoped, in order to declare myself a totally satisfied customer. Nikon did quite an excellent job with this camera, but my first nature shooting by using it will be a little disappointing if it wasn't for your spare battery.
