However, a North Carolina family not only beat the vast odds of winning the lotto once but they did it an amazing three times.

Kimberley McCauley, who lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, was amazed when she won $100,000 on the lotto because her mother, Amy, had already won the lottery twice before her.

Amy's good luck in the lottery started back in 1991 when she claimed a $15.5 million prize which has been paid out over 20 years.

This what not to be the only time Amy was to win big on the lottery. 10 years later she was to land herself another big win. With another lottery win, this time for $161,172, it seemed that Amy was one of the luckiest people in North Carolina.

Amy's wins didn't stop there either. In the same lottery she claimed another two prizes for $1000 each. These amazing wins saw her become a television celebrity after appearing on the Oprah how.

With Amy's daughter's recent win marking the family as being particularly lucky it is no wonder Kimberley asked her mother to accompany her to collect her cheque. The lottery headquarters in Raleigh saw two composed women arrive to collect the prize.

Ryan Kennemur, a spokesperson for the North Carolina Education Lottery stated that mother and daughter were completely at ease when they arrived to claim their big prize. He told a news crew that one would think that winning a third time seemed to be almost a normal thing for the women.

When asked what she planned to do with her huge win Kim merely replied that she wanted to pay off personal debts and buy herself a British made Mini Cooper.



Did the McCauley's have a system they used to beat the lottery? Although it may appear that the McCauley's most have some sort of clever mathematical system that they used to win so many times they say it was just down to luck. However there are other people who say they do have certain secrets and can show other people how to win the lottery, and have done so before, including multiple lotto winners who say they use lottery software. If the really big winners have used systems I guess we will never know. However, as for the lottery winners who have claimed to use systems there is no direct proof that this is the case. We must accept what they say as truth or simply reject it.

You may think that the McCauley's story is a prime example of amazing luck that could never be repeated but this is not the first time such a thing has happened.

In Texas there is a woman named Joan Ginter that has been claiming big lottery wins for almost 20 years. In fact she has won 4 massive amounts over that time. Each of her wins was over $1 million dollars for a grand total of $20 and a half million over the four draws.
